Several months back, Related Grey had the amazing opportunity to develop a full-scale visual campaign for the Fiat ABARTH lead by John Doyle. We developed Motion Design, Print & Outdoor pieces, so this particular assignment tapped into every design discipline and artist in the shop.
John Doyle never disappoints, always coming up with challenging yet beautiful design concepts. Together we were able to develop many pieces tapping into the racing culture of the ABARTH brand. High performance, European design and cutting edge technology were some of the creative guidelines we needed to adhere too. It was important for us to retain the clean lines, high detailed materials, and elegant feel to match the look of the special edition vehicle.
The ABARTH badge alone is a magnificent piece of art. We took the flat vector art provided and built a fully extruded multi-material object. Each color, texture and element of the badge had to be perfect.
There is no design element or product we won't conceptualize visually. Bringing together many design concepts together in a cohesive campaign is what we do best. It's very common for clients to want pre-production products for testing---that's where we come in. Pre-visualization and conceptual 3D illustration is vital in our industry.
Fiat's racing design concept campaign was a total success. Developing a brand that can spread over many product implementations and conceptual ideas can be a strenuous task. We had a great time undertaking this project and are proud of our achievement.
